I’m Attorney Chuck Tiernan.
Four years ago, you did me the honor of electing me to be your judge of probate for Branford and North Branford.
Since then, I’ve tried to live up to the high standard set by my predecessor, Judge Frank Forgione, to address the probate needs of our community with compassion, empathy, decisiveness, and common sense.
Along with overseeing trusts and decedent’s estates, it’s my job to help people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
That can include determining what’s in the best interests of a child who is in vulnerable circumstances, or deciding whether someone can’t make their own decisions anymore, and who should make the decisions for them instead.
Every day I try to meet the moment with kindness and respect.
It’s a job I’ve come to love, and it’s one I’d like to do as long as I can.
And so, once again, I’m asking for your vote on November 3 to be re-elected judge of probate for Branford and North Branford.
